DC PANDEY Tips to Crack JEE & NEET

One of the questions which we get asked a lot is - How do you attempt these books? Suppose there is a DC Pandey book or for thatmatter, any other book; what would be your suggestion for these aspirants on how to solvethese questions or how to attempt these questions? In my opinion, firstly, students should refer only one standard book. I’m not saying it should be my book only. Any book which you are using, you should always refer that book and be thorough with it. I would advise that if suppose an eleventh-grade student is starting off with the IIT JEE preparation, then, he/she should first count the total number of days remaining for the exam.

Initially, say as an example, we have five textbooks - Mechanics I, Mechanics II, Waves and Thermodynamics. So, they contain all the basic theories and questions that accounts to roughly around 5400 examples and questions. All the five books contains examples and question. As the exam system has changed now, you will appear for first mains in the month of January. Your target should be completing all the five books within the month of October.

If someone is following my books, then I would suggest maintaining five books initially. Maintain the October target and also keep in mind the number of days available for the exam. I would also suggest dividing all the questions accordingly so that your per day target is set. Moreover, these 5400 questions contain examples as well.

With examples, introductory exercises, you will notice that your per day target is very small - roughly 12-13 questions per day given that you should not miss a single day.
